
June 2nd 2021: The Desktop Delivery feature in SHAREit has been improved to help ILL Staff consistently deliver attached articles/documents according to the Best Practices for SHAREit Academic libraries. The patron view within " Guest ILL Tracking" patron tracking has also been improved to display the Upload Date, Expiry Date & Downloads Remaining for attached articles including a greyed out URL link if the document is no longer accessible. Multiple articles can still also be attached/delivered on each request if your file size exceeds 125MB.

The maximum file size has been increased from 25 MB to 125 MB. Using an alternate browser, such as Firefox, that does not have an embedded PDF viewer and instead always downloads the PDF directly also appears to work successfully.įebruary 1st 2023: The Desktop Delivery feature in SHAREit has been improved to allow larger files to attach to your requests.

Known Browser Issue: Browsers based on Chromium, such as Chrome or MS Edge, have issues opening filenames with commas (,) in their PDF viewer.
